Prepare for rainy days. It's a good time to start saving challenge.

Happy 2021 to all Tapintosh reader. Year 2020 was an unexpected eventful year which has changed our life. May we all strive throughout the new year and prosper in every aspects.

On the first day of new year, Tapintosh would like to giveaway a 52-weeks saving challenge calendar (sort of). Inspired by Giorgio Morandi, the calendar is designed with Morandi colour palatte (so that your eyes wont hurt that much when you are putting money into your piggy bank).

How to use this eyes soothing challenge calendar? The step is easy. Every week you pick one of the circles and deposit the exact amount into your piggy bank and then mark/colour/delete/slash it off (per your preference) the circle to indicate that it's done. There is a total of 52 circles here, so by the time all circles are marked/coloured/deleted, you will be having $1000 in your saving. You just need to print this out and keep it inside your saving jar (I am using my Crabtree & Evelyn biscuit tin for this challenge).

If you do not have the exact amount of cash, you can combine 2 circles and keep the total amount of 2 cirlces (in this way you will complete the challenge earlier than 52 weeks).

Over the years Tapintosh has tried different savings challenge. This is somehow the easiest. Hence, Tapintosh would like to encourage you to give it a try this year. You can download the printable version at the end of this post. It is always good to prepare for rainy days. After completing the challenge, you get the freedom on deciding how to spend this $1000.

Year 2020 was a tough one. Many of us have experienced prolonged income disturbance, some have lost their jobs and some fell sick (Covid-19, depression etc...). A simple saving challenge may help you when you are having hard time. $1000 may sound useless but not having this $1000 may be detrimental at times. Join us in this small challenge, the first step you take is a big leap in life.
